Have you met Lindsey?

Lindsey is celebrating 14 years of work at HART. She was referred to MH-IDD and the HART Center by a service provider. At the time, Lindsey was living with family and has since transitioned into living independently. Lindsey credits her increased independence to the support provided to her by her MH-IDD staff, who have helped her navigate and get the services she needed. While at HART, Lindsey noted that she has learned many things, including confidence in tasks she was nervous about her ability to perform, such as reception. She also mentioned that she has been proud of her ability to talk to and work with people of varying ability levels. While at HART, Lindsey states that her favorite jobs include York Wallcoverings and reception. If she could do anything, Lindsey would like to do something in the realm of helping people to better their lives and finding fulfillment. In reflecting on her time at HART, Lindsey’s fondest memories include dressing up for the Halloween social and the trivia questions that she quizzes the team with each day.
