We have another anniversary to celebrate today. Rachael has been with us for 7 years now! Originally, Rachael came to HART get involved. She has gone above and beyond in that regard. Rachael is involved in several community-based organizations and is well known for her self-advocacy. Rachael says the most significant lesson she has learned is “to be more outgoing; you don’t know what someone’s going through”. At work, Rachael enjoys making boxes for York Wall Coverings. Rachael also participates in our Community Participation Supports (CPS). In CPS, she enjoys the opportunity to get out and about in the community and engage in volunteering at a local church. When asked about her dream job, Rachael expressed that she would like to be a customer service worker. We have certainly enjoyed having the opportunity to work with Rachael these past 7 years, and we are excited to see Rachael continue to tackle her goals!
