This year, Randy is celebrating 45 years of work here at HART. Randy recounts that when he came to HART, he had been working in the community, but he expressed that the jobs he had worked in had closed, and he enjoyed working here. Randy expressed that he had learned to work a variety of jobs here, including packaging, organizing, assembly, and die cutting. Randy continues to display versatility, stating that his favorite jobs include QA, RH Sheppard, Labeling and tile. Over the past 45 years, Randy has transitioned from living supports to living independently in the community, an achievement that he is rightfully proud of. Randy also enjoys having opportunities to travel to local towns including Gettysburg, Chambersburg, and Carlisle while engaging in the HART Center’s Community Participation program. When asked if he had advice for a person considering working at HART, Randy shared that he has appreciated the opportunity to get along with others at work, but when he is working, he likes to concentrate. Randy, thank you so much for choosing to be a part of our team and community. Your hard work and dedication are very much appreciated!
